Objective of the event

  • To show the experiences of Latin American companies that have started their transition towards carbon neutrality with the help of European technology partners, in the framework of the Low Carbon and Circular Economy Business Action (LCBA) programme implemented in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
  • Promotion of decarbonisation, as well as the application of circular economy principles in production and business processes, through the presentation of measures for the acceleration of strategic alliances between Latin American and European companies.

Description

The EU-funded Low Carbon and Circular Economy Business Action (LCBA) programme implemented in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia presents the session "Experiences in Latin America in the framework of the LCBA programme to accelerate the transition to neutrality".

LCBA is a business platform that fosters the generation of commercial technology and knowledge transfer agreements between Latin American companies seeking decarbonisation or circular economy solutions and European technological SMEs.

In a round table format, the opportunities offered by the programme will be presented through the experience of four participants who will tell their success stories and partnerships generated on their way to the green transition. The cases presented will showcase projects of different types such as waste recovery and treatment and carbon neutral agriculture.
